Last month we completed one of our largest & most unique residential pool builds to date, constructed to the highest level of luxury.
Sized at 10.5m x 4.6m and standing a remarkable 1.8m above ground, the curved infinity edge, wet deck pool has a plethora of impressive features. It includes a spacious, custom internal spa that we designed with body-shaped rolled seating and curved headrests, as well as multiple spa jets for each of the 7 seats. Notably, it includes an incredible sunken lounge with swim up bar and 3 glass mosaic clad bar stools, and a custom green roof pergola, with access extending from the adjacent beach area via five floating steppingstone pavers. We also constructed a feature herringbone brick wall on the pool edge, with 6 custom water feature spouts, while on the other side, is the unique 1.8m high curved infinity edge with rolled finish, for water to gently cascade down the glass mosaic face.
We were engaged from the initial design concept for this project, where we were challenged with creating a unique, innovative, family sized swimming pool and spa, while ensuring it complimented the surrounding landscape, and enhanced the architectural design of the home.
For the projects entirety we teamed up with Landart Landscapes and Striking Constructions, to seamlessly bring the clients vision to life. As the Eltham home exhibits consistent curves throughout its structure; we designed the pool and spa to emulate this. Additionally, the rear of the property is set on a 2.7m slope leading to the design of a three-tier landscape, so we ensured the beach area and pool access, were set on the same level as the pool house.
This pool is evidently the central architectural element of this landscape. The breathtaking, one-of-a-kind pool and spa is visible from all areas and can be enjoyed all year round.
